Andrew Duncan joins FTS Recovery as head of its London office
FTS Recovery has appointed industry veteran Andrew Duncan as head of both its London office and secured lending and advisory services.
Duncan joins from Leonard Curtis where he spent 12 years as director in the London office of the specialist corporate recovery and insolvency practice.
A licensed insolvency practitioner and chartered accountant (FCA), Duncan has worked all around the world including Australia, Russia, Hong Kong and Thailand, across his more than 30-year career in corporate recovery.
Prior to Leonard Curtis, Duncan was a partner and director at firms including MCR (now Kroll) and has a wealth of experience with both onshore and offshore entities and financial services, having been involved in two UK Special Administrations and a Guernsey Administration Management. He was integral in setting up Leonard Curtis’ very successful offering in the Channel Islands.

Joining Duncan’s team at the London office will be qualified insolvency practitioner, Mark Newton. Newly appointed as associate director, Newton brings to the team 30 years’ experience with administrations, liquidations, and forensic investigations. He has previously held partner and director positions at Menzies LLP and Benedict Mackenzie LLP.
