Arbuthnot Latham hires Henry Taylor as head of racing
Arbuthnot Latham, the private and commercial bank, has appointed Henry Taylor as a director and head of racing. His appointment marks a strategic expansion of Arbuthnot’s specialist expertise into the horseracing sector. Henry’s appointment underscores Arbuthnot Latham’s commitment to supporting both private and commercial clients across this sector.

Henry joins from Weatherbys Bank where he spent eight years in a range of senior roles, most recently serving as head of Weatherbys Racing Bank. In this position, he supported high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients across the racing sector, delivering a broad suite of tailored banking services.
Earlier in his career, Henry spent over a decade at Lloyds Banking Group, holding several roles across the bank. During this time, he also worked internationally in Luxembourg, Switzerland and Tokyo, where he developed deep cross-border expertise.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the banking industry, including six years dedicated to clients within the racing sector, Henry brings with him expertise and insights that will be invaluable to Arbuthnot’s growing banking team.
