Avison Young strengthens real estate finance team with associate director appointment
Avison Young has appointed Magda Kudelko as associate director within its real estate finance team.
Magda was a consultant at EY before joining U+I where she worked on regeneration projects across London, Manchester and Dublin. At U+I Magda was responsible for financial modelling of potential and ongoing projects of high complexity. In addition, Magda was involved in design and implementation of new tools and systems within the company as part of its ‘working smarter’ initiative.
At Avison Young Magda is working as a financial modeler within the real estate finance team, strengthening the team’s work on structuring of finance for real estate transactions. The team works with clients ranging in size from small developers looking for debt to large institutional funds and central government looking to deliver large scale regeneration. Magda will be focused on responding to a growing desire from Avison Young’s clients to embed sophisticated financial analysis within the firm’s usual investment an appraisal processes.
Alastair Carmichael, Avison Young’s principal, head of real estate finance, comments: “Magda’s experience working clientside on regeneration projects across the UK, adds to the strength of our expertise in this area, however Magda also brings an investors perspective which should be of great benefit to clients who expect their advisors to be able to undertake sophisticated financial analysis of proposed transactions.”
