Azets strengthens risk assurance practice with partner appointment

UK top 10 accountancy and advisory firm Azets has strengthened its national risk assurance practice with the appointment of Ruth Ireland as partner, focused on the South of England.

Ruth joins Azets from BDO LLP, where she spent the past 13 years as a partner. In her new role at Azets, Ruth is focused on advising ambitious businesses and their owners on all aspects of governance, risk and internal controls, drawing on her considerable experience of providing advisory and assurance services to a broad range of corporate and not-for-profit clients in London and across the South of England.

Ruth’s appointment represents a key milestone in the growth strategy of Azets’ risk and technology assurance practice, which has undergone significant transformation in response to growing demand in support of clients with increasingly complex risk management, internal audit and compliance requirements.
