Barclays appoints Karl Trumper head of trade and working capital UK
Barclays has appointed Karl Trumper as head of trade and working capital UK.
Karl will be responsible for leading the trade and working capital business for the UK, supporting clients with their business needs by providing end-to-end working capital solutions. Karl will report into Dan Roberts, head of trade and working capital.
Since joining Barclays in 2002, Karl has held a number of senior roles across the corporate banking division including regional head of coverage in the North West and Wales and regional director for medium business and head of sales for larger business.
Commenting on his appointment, Karl Trumper said: “Trade is a key focus for not only Barclays but also for the UK government. There are a number of initiatives underway to help local businesses with their international growth ambitions and I look forward to further supporting this drive by providing our clients with a holistic multi-product offering to meet their business needs.”
