Bibby recruits new global board director
Bibby Financial Services has recruited David Riley as head of mergers and acquisitions to bolster the growth of its global business.
Reporting directly to Global CEO Simon Featherstone and a member of the global board, David will support the funder’s ambition to grow by identifying acquisition opportunities in its chosen geographies.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the sector, David previously headed up Grant Thornton’s asset-based lending and invoice finance team nationally. He has also worked at Ernst & Young.
David commented: “The opportunity to join a global independent ABL and invoice finance business does not come along often, and the role in the current market is particularly interesting and challenging. I look forward to having the opportunity to take Bibby forward.”
Simon added: “We have ambitious plans to grow our business both domestically and internationally. David’s experience will complement our already experienced team, and we are delighted he has joined us.”
