BREAL Zeta announces expansion in the North West with key appointments
REAL Zeta Commercial Finance has expanded its regional footprint in the North West, with the appointments of Annabel Todd, who takes up the position of North West regional business development director and Andrew Welden, who joins the business in the role of business development associate. Both Annabel and Andrew will be based in BREAL Zeta’s offices in Brown Street, Manchester.
Annabel comes to BREAL Zeta with over 12 years’ experience in the commercial finance industry, gained at Fresh Thinking Capital, Aldermore and RBS Invoice Finance. Annabel has a Master’s degree in Banking Practice and Management and is a Board Member of The London Institute of Banking & Finance.
Annabel Todd comments: “This is a great opportunity to get back to my ABL roots and join a brilliant and highly respected team that’s right at the forefront of the industry. We are perfectly placed to support businesses in meeting their challenges, particularly in these uncertain and turbulent times when businesses will need us more than ever.
“I can’t deny that it has been an interesting time to start in a new role but it has been a highly productive one in terms of investing quality time in having conversations with my business introducer contacts. They really have welcomed BREAL Zeta’s timing of entering the market in the North West with open arms.”
A graduate in Business Management with Finance, Andrew Welden joins BREAL Zeta from technology recruitment consultancy, Oliver Bernard.
Andrew Welden said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to get on the finance ladder with an exceptional business. It will enable me to put into practice the sales experience I have gained over the past four years and to apply my degree.
“From stabilising stressed and turnaround businesses to enabling those embarking on M&A transactions, we have the commercial appetite to support businesses looking to drive change. I have enjoyed researching and speaking with a variety of clients and business introducers and alternative organisations, such as specialist situation funds, to broaden the portfolio and open up new avenues for the company.”
Russell Gilling, managing director Sales, BREAL Zeta, added: “The North West is a substantial globally competitive region at the heart of UK industry and I am delighted to welcome Annabel and Andrew to drive our continued expansion. Our growing presence will enable more businesses to thrive through access to a level of support which is simply not available from mainstream funders. We are now able to offer a funding range against all assets of between £2m and £150m on a fully underwritten and hold basis, with additional cash flow loans to provide even higher levels of headroom.”
