Bridge Help expands business development team
Bridge Help has appointed Iona Reid to its business development team.
Iona brings a background in property sales and lettings to the role, joining the short-term commercial finance provider from Keepmoat Homes where she was a sales executive. Prior to this, she was a lettings manager with a national estate agent.
In her new business development manager role, Iona will be working with Bridge Help’s broker network supporting them to secure bridging finance for auction purchases, acquisitions, commercial and buy-to-let properties as well as re-finance for loans with existing lenders.
Her appointment follows growth at Bridge Help and a surge in new enquiries.
Increased demand has resulted from borrowers whose current lenders are unable to extend their existing facility or are charging high default rates. Bridge Help is supporting borrowers by offering re-bridging loans to provide additional time for borrowers to achieve their exit.
Iona commented on her new appointment saying: “I am delighted to join the team and the short-term finance sector. I was attracted by the dynamic environment and the opportunity to grow and develop my career within both Bridge Help and the sector.”
Welcoming Iona to the team, Katie Snodden Head of Sales at Bridge Help added: “Iona is a welcome addition to the team as we continue to increase the support we offer to brokers across England and Wales. Her experience in sales and property makes her well-placed to help us continue to deliver great outcomes for their clients.”
