Caroline Langron appointed to FundingKnight Board
Sancus Finance’s managing director, Caroline Langron has been appointed managing director of FundingKnight, to lead the property loan firms’ future growth plans. Langron will continue in her role as managing director of Sancus Finance, which she has led since 2014.
The appointment comes on the back of a business restructure which saw both Sancus Finance and FundingKnight’s owner, GLI Finance bring together a select number of niche alternative finance businesses under the banner of Sancus BMS Group. Together, they specialise in delivering short, medium and long-term finance to SME’s and their owners.
FundingKnight specialises in alternative finance, matching businesses looking for finance and investors looking for opportunities. To date they have provided property and working capital loans to the value of over £31m to UK businesses with an average loan size of £500k. Sancus BMS Group are committed to evolving their proposition to deliver fast and straightforward finance to businesses and consistent returns to funders.
Andy Whelan, CEO of Sancus BMS Group said:
“In preparing the business for the next phase of growth, we are delighted to expand Caroline’s responsibilities to include leading FundingKnight.
“Her experience and expertise in building and managing similar businesses will provide the foundations for growing and serving the combined client and funder base of both businesses. There are great synergies and opportunities for these two businesses to combine forces.”
“The alternative finance space is improving the accessibility of much needed funding to businesses on their bespoke terms. We seek to continually improve the solutions that we offer our clients in the form of fast and flexible funding and to offer funders a wide range of opportunities to choose from. I am delighted to have the opportunity to lead FundingKnight and I look forward to working with the team in channelling their drive and ambition.”
