Cashplus Bank appoints new chief financial officer and finance director
Cashplus, the leading UK digital bank, today announces the appointment of Leigh Bartlett as chief financial officer (CFO) and of Brennan Elliott-Jones to the newly created role of finance director, strengthening its finance and executive teams to support the firm’s ambitious growth plans.
Bartlett brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge with over 20 years’ experience in financial services and having worked at senior management and Board level for major institutions in the UK and overseas. He will also join the Cashplus Board as an executive director.
Bartlett previously held key executive roles at Novobanco, where he was CFO, and Masthaven Bank, where he held the role of CEO. Prior to this, he worked at FNZ Group, Westpac Group and NatWest Group.
In his role as CFO and executive director, Bartlett will be responsible for leading the bank’s strategic planning process and future fundraising agenda as well as overall responsibility for the company’s capital and liquidity.
In addition, Brennan Elliott-Jones has joined Cashplus as finance director. Reporting directly to Leigh Bartlett, Elliot-Jones will oversee the day-today-operations of the bank’s finance and treasury functions. Elliott-Jones joins from the fintech firm Greengage, where he was CFO. He previously worked as CFO at Fiinu and as head of finance at Starling Bank.
