Castle Corporate Finance ready to scale new heights
Independently owned corporate finance adviser, Castle Corporate Finance, is a proud sponsor of the Scale-Up category at the Lloyds National Business Awards. Castle is advising an increasing number of businesses and owner managers on their scale up ambitions, through both organic expansion and via acquisitions, despite the current uncertainty of the last three years with Brexit impacting business confidence.
The sponsorship follows Castle’s own exciting three year growth plan and period of transformation, putting the company on the same path, enabling them to advise from a position of strength and experience.
Recent reports from the Scale Up Institute have highlighted a record number of Scale-Up businesses enjoying periods of rapid but sustainable growth. The latest figures available suggest a 3.7% increase on previous recorded figures. These Scale-Up companies have enjoyed a growth in turnover and/or employment of over 20% over a three-year period.
Scale-Ups are contributing £1.3tr in combined turnover, a rise of over 34% since 2016. However, almost two-thirds of social scale-ups struggle to find the right amount of finance and state that as an impediment to potential growth.
Castle specialises in connecting clients with a broad spectrum of funding avenues – from tried and tested sources – whether it be for working capital requirements, or the need for an institutional equity injection, to supercharging long term growth plans. Finding the right funding partner who will recognise and support clients’ aspirations is primary to Castle.
“We fully engage with a small portfolio of clients, sharing our experience, enthusiasm and energy to ensure a personal and focused service throughout: whether this is their first venture, or part of a series, we are always by their side to ensure that their ambitions are supported and achieved. For us it’s always personal.” Said Stuart Stepney, Castle Corporate Finance, managing director.
“We have been working with ambitious entrepreneurs to help realise their ambitions for many years and recently embarked on our own three-year growth plan. It is apt then that we now sponsor the Scale-Up Business of the Year Award, and we have really enjoyed meeting the UK finalists as part of this exciting journey. They represent a fantastic cross-section of our SME and owner managed community in Britain.” Stuart concluded.
