CBW strengthens corporate finance team with partner appointment CBW, London accountants, tax and business advisers, has appointed Philip Bird who joins the corporate finance Team from BDO. Philip Bird’s appointment as corporate finance partner brings the total number of partners at the top 50 firm to 21.
Philip joins the firm’s expanding corporate finance team with more than 25 years’ experience in supporting clients with corporate finance advice and brings a wealth of experience in corporate finance advisory work, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, management buyouts and fundraising.
Throughout his career, Philip has worked with large global groups as well as privately-held businesses. He has advised companies across a wide range of sectors and has specific industry expertise in the business support sectors, including logistics, business process outsourcing and operational management.
Prior to joining CBW, Philip worked with BDO, Grant Thornton and Bank of America. He has a first-class economics degree and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management.
