Ciao Paolo Dental Practice in Glasgow sold through Christie & Co
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Ciao Paolo Dental Practice in Glasgow.
Ciao Paolo is a three-surgery, mixed income dental practice with approximately 2,500 registered patients. The practice is well established and offers significant scope for further potential including longer opening hours and the introduction of additional specialist treatments.
The practice is located on Crow Road in Jordanhill, an affluent area of the West End of Glasgow, just three and a half miles from the city centre. The area has excellent transport links and will benefit from nearby housing development plans.
The business has been run successfully by previous owner, principal, Dr Paul Trevisan, since 2011 after it was established from squat. He decided to sell as he was looking for an exit strategy from practice ownership but wanted the flexibility to continue working post-sale.
Ciao Paolo Dental Practice has been purchased by Dr Radhika Baireddy, who plans to increase the services provided at the practice, thereby increasing the overall profitability.
Dr Trevisan comments, “Joel at Christie & Co introduced me to a range of interested parties based on my preferred buyer criteria. I’m very confident the new owner, Radhika Baireddy, is an excellent fit for our appreciative patient base and look forward to continuing to provide care for our patients.”
Dr Baireddy comments, “Being a first-time buyer, I was not sure if buying a practice during a pandemic was a good idea. However, my passion for owning my own practice has encouraged me to buy. I choose Ciao Paolo dental practice as Dr Trevisan was willing to continue working with me post-sale, and I felt he would be an excellent mentor for me for the business of dentistry.”
Joel Mannix, business agent at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, comments, “Paul and I began discussing the possibility of a sale a few years ago. We kept in touch and continued to discuss the markets until he felt the time was right to sell his practice. After a short advertising period, in which we had over 40 enquires, we were able to hone in on a number of capable buyers. Paul was most keen on Radhika’s offer, particularly due to her being a first-time buyer, as it allowed him to hand over the reins of his practice but enabled him to work on to continue treating the patient base he had built over a decade. I’d like to wish Radhika all the very best with her first dental practice which I’m sure, with Paul’s expertise, will be a great success.”
Ciao Paolo Dental Practice was sold off an asking price of £385,000.
