City Brokers expands into Wales & West
City Finance Brokers, a privately owned specialist mortgage and finance brokerage, has announced the creation of a team serving Wales and the West/South West of England, as it continues to roll out its aggressive expansion plans outside of London.
City Finance Brokers has appointed Chris Dawson as regional manager for Wales and West. Chris has more than 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry, beginning his career as an Independent financial adviser and then working as area and regional director for Halifax Bank and Lloyds TSB. In 2015, he set up his own headhunting business for the financial services industry, which he will continue to run alongside his new role as regional manager for City Finance Brokers. Chris is based in Cardiff..
Chris commented on his appointment: “I’m delighted to join City Finance Brokers to help them capitalise on the huge potential to help clients in Wales and West. My main priority is to grow a team of experienced brokers– enabling them to complement their current customer offering with all the skills and lending capacity of a 360 degree broker, while broadening their lending capability into all areas of tailored property finance.
The announcement of a Wales and West presence for City Finance Brokers follows the announcement in July 2019 of the appointment of Simon Kelly in Taunton South West England – the first broker to be appointed by the business outside of London.
