Contracts stump more than 750,000 UK small businesses
As many as 750,000 million UK small and medium-sized business are to get their head around contracts, according to a study from business insurance specialists Hiscox.
Results from the Hiscox survey, supported by YouGov, reveal that 14% of small and medium-sized businesses – as many as 750,000 of the 5.36 million SMEs nationally – are in need of support and advice when it comes to working their way through contracts.
Contracts and compliance was identified by IT, technology and e-com SME leaders as one of the biggest challenges with 74% of firms saying they needed more support.
In response to the demands from IT, technology and e-com company owners, who called for more advice articles, how to guides, and thought leadership in this area, Hiscox has worked alongside four solicitors to create a series of free handy contract guides which are available here.
The new Hiscox SME business guides consists of a four-part series in which tackle some of the major problems faced by IT and tech businesses.
