Cynergy Business Finance Strengthens Midlands growth ambitions with sales director appointment
Cynergy Business Finance, the asset-based lending arm of Cynergy Bank, has appointed Laura Wilson as sales director, based in Birmingham.
Laura, who joins the business on 7 September, brings over 20 years’ experience in business banking and relationship management and will be responsible for driving new business origination and leading the regional sales team across the Midlands. Her previous roles include GE Capital, Bibby Financial Services and most recently Praetura Invoice Finance.
This appointment represents the latest step in Laura ‘s career within commercial finance. She has built a reputation as a trusted relationship manager, with a focus on supporting SMEs through tailored funding solutions and building long-term client relationships.
The appointment forms part of Cynergy Business Finance’s continued investment in its regional footprint, as the business looks to deepen its presence and relationships with SMEs and intermediaries across the Midlands.
Laura places a strong emphasis on face-to-face client engagement, which she sees as central to her role going forward. She is keen to build on Cynergy Business Finance’s existing presence in the Midlands and is committed to working closely with intermediaries and SMEs to understand their funding needs.
This relationship-led approach aligns closely with Cynergy Business Finance’s wider ethos of combining personal service with flexible, responsive lending.
