East Sussex professional eventer going places with Aldermore funded horsebox

East Sussex-based professional British eventer Francis Whittington is riding high, after taking delivery of a new 26 ton Whittaker horsebox – thanks to finance from Aldermore. The new truck, which is on a Scania chassis with a 2016 numberplate, has six stalls for Francis’ top team of horses. The new truck, which has been fully customised to Francis’ requirements, also has a unique Aldermore branded livery. The Bank has proudly supported Francis since it was founded in 2009.

Francis Whittington said:

“I’m really thrilled with our new horsebox. It’s simply wonderful and very practical in meeting all our needs and particularly those of the horses when we’re travelling and staying over at events. I’ve got the best team of horses I have ever had and they deserve the best transportation there is.

“I am very grateful to Aldermore for its support over the past six years. The Bank’s help has meant that I’ve been able to concentrate on building a team of horses that are well-placed to compete and win. I now have a strong foundation and a good chance of success in this year’s competitions.”
