Eazipay raises the bar with record breaking start
Eazipay Ltd, one of the UK’s leading direct debit and automated payment processing companies, is celebrating a major milestone having just seen its direct debit processing and collection volumes break the £4bn mark.
In January 2020 alone, over £77m worth of direct debits were processed on behalf of its clients – a mix of SMEs and corporate organisations – taking the company’s total processing volumes to a staggering £4,015,245,336.88 since the figures were first collated in 2008.
The current success follows what was Eazipay’s best ever year for processing volumes and overall performance. At the end of December 2019 over £822m worth of direct debits had been processed, compared to a total of £644m for 2018 – its previous record-breaking year.
Luisa Grey, Eazipay’s director, comments, “We’re enjoying a fantastic start to the year in terms of business growth and success. Processing volumes are increasing all the time, new customers are constantly coming on board and with the launch of new payment services and systems’ integrations we’re forging partnerships with more and more businesses nationally and throughout Europe.
“If things continue as they are, we should be celebrating one or two other major milestones later in the year, which will be amazing.”
The dramatic increase in the volume of work compared to previous years is a clear indication that more and more businesses continue to recognise that collecting regular payments by direct debit is the single most efficient way of controlling and regularising their cashflow.
“If companies want to avoid late payments and the untold damage that not being paid on-time carries with it, then insisting that your customers pay you by direct debit is the simplest, most convenient and crucially, reliable, form of invoice collection”, adds Luisa.
Cambridgeshire-based Eazipay, which currently employs 31 full and part time staff, has been at the forefront of collecting and processing automated payments like direct debit for over 17 years.
In addition to its direct debit collection service, Eazipay also offers a range of other automated payment processing services including direct credit transactions, SEPA direct debits for payment collection in Euros, and a card payment service allowing its clients to collect and process customer payments via debit and credit card
