ECI expands team with three new hires
ECI Partners, the leading growth-focused mid-market private equity firm, today announces that it has expanded its team with three new hires. Jin Ni Ooi is joining as investment associate, Adam Whitfield as investor relations manager, and Victoria Gustavsson as an analyst in the Origination Team.
Jin previously worked within PwC’s Transaction Services department where she led execution of financial due diligence across a variety of sectors. Jin joins ECI from Blixt Group where she was an investment associate, with experience assessing investment opportunities and working with management teams to deliver on growth initiatives. She is also fluent in Mandarin which will help to support ECI’s portfolio management teams with expansion into Asia.
Before joining ECI, Adam was a senior associate at independent private equity fundraising advisory firm, Rede Partners, where he worked on fundraises and advisory projects across a range of strategies and asset classes. Before this, he worked at Barclays Investment Bank as an equity research analyst in the UK Midcaps team.
Victoria has joined ECI’s Origination Team, where she will be leveraging data to drive efficiency and using ECI’s proprietary AI tool, Amplifind™, to source and prioritise opportunities for ECI and its portfolio companies. She recently completed a master’s degree in behavioural economics at London School of Economics (LSE) after studying economics at New York University (NYU).
Tom Wrenn, managing partner at ECI, said: “We are delighted to be expanding our team with the appointments of Jin, Adam and Victoria, who will add excellent capability to our Investment, Investor Relations and Origination Teams here at ECI. 2021 was another strong year and we hope to build on that again in 2022; these new hires will be essential in helping ECI continue to deliver exceptional results as we grow.”
