Emma Roberts joins Advantedge Commercial Finance to drive south coast expansion
Advantedge Commercial Finance has appointed Emma Roberts as regional sales manager for their southern region. Emma will be responsible for developing Advantedges’ presence in the region as the firm pursues a geographical expansion strategy following a successful MBO in 2016.
Emma appointment builds upon the firm’s existing successful client operations in the Thames Valley, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow and their regional sales presence in the South West, South East, Thames Valley, Essex, London, Liverpool and Yorkshire as the firm continues to focus on being close to their clients.
The appointment comes at an exciting time for the region which accounts for 35% of the UK’s business population with two million private sector businesses in London and the South East. The move is designed to capitalise on the regions’ economic growth prospects ensuring that Southern based businesses have access to the financial support they need in realising their potential. Latest figures reveal that London and the South East will account for 40% of national output by the end of the next parliament in 2022, dominating economic growth in the coming years resulting in the creation of more jobs.
Emma said:
“The region has a thriving business community. The latest statistics and forecasts are really encouraging for the region with both economic and employment levels predicting strong growth over the next few years. I believe the increasing financial services presence in the region is supporting this growth. Ensuring that business has fast access to flexible and straightforward funding solutions is essential if the regions businesses are to continue growing and creating jobs. I am delighted to be joining Advantedge who are committed to providing certainty of funding to UK businesses. They have a strong commercial perspective, access to large funding pools and a commitment to delivering a market leading service. With funding facilities available up to £1.5m I am looking forward to supporting firms on the South coast and their growth aspirations.”
Emma brings with her a wealth of experience gained within the invoice finance sector successfully identifying and shaping funding facilities for a wide range of businesses for key market players such as RDM, Bibby Financial Services and more latterly Hitachi Capital.
Advantedge, who offer a full range of invoice finance facilities to small and medium sized businesses, have seen consistent growth having already funded over £2bn worth of invoices to British SME’s and hope to significantly increase that number as they continue to expand their operation. The business attributes this continued growth to delivering fast, flexible and straightforward finance solutions to clients on their own terms, which is aimed at delivering a transparent and professional service to both intermediaries and clients.
