Empowering women entrepreneurs
Harrow Metro Bank is proud to announce its collaboration with the London Business Partnership to launch the Harrow Female Startup Accelerator Programme. This innovative six-week initiative, funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and supported by the London Borough of Harrow, aims to provide Harrow based women with essential business skills, mentoring, and coaching to help them develop entrepreneurial ideas, business plans, and investor-ready pitch decks.
The programme wants to attract local women who have a business idea or are exploring self-employment and consultancy options. During the programme, participants will attend four interactive workshops covering critical topics such as creating a comprehensive marketing plan and writing persuasive investment pitches.
Leading the programme are two seasoned entrepreneurs, Naima Omasta-Milsom, with over two decades of experience in business support and Lisa Mynheer, who brings over 40 years of expertise in research, product development, and consultancy. Together, they have empowered hundreds of businesses and are committed to growing the next generation of female entrepreneurs in Harrow.
“This programme is about much more than just learning how to write a business plan – It’s about building a network of strong, capable women who can support each other and create sustainable businesses that contribute to the Harrow economy,” says Jasmine Madhan, Harrow Metro Bank’s local business manager.
Anyone interested can apply for the next course which will begin on 21 October. To apply, please click here.
