ES Group acquires MBA team from Jones Lang Lasalle
ES Group, which is the collective name for Edward Symmons, Storeys Edward Symmons and Aaron Fox is delighted to announce that it has acquired Jones Lang LaSalle’s Machinery and Business Assets (MBA) team. The new collective team of 70 represents the UK’s largest specialist MBA team.
A strategic move, the acquisition further strengthens MBA at ES Group; a division that has been at the core of ES Group’s business since its inception in 1943. Four employees will move to ES Group’s Manchester office, one will move to the firm’s Leeds office and four will be based in Nottingham, bolstering the firm’s MBA presence in the Midlands. The united team will be able to service the firm’s considerable client base which spans the major banks, accountants and insolvency practitioners as well as countless private companies.
Paul Proctor, chairman of ES Group and director within the London MBA team, comments: “We warmly welcome our nine new colleagues to the firm and are confident that they will fit seamlessly at ES Group, bringing skillsets and a geographical spread that complements our existing MBA offer.”
Mark Stupples, UK chief operating officer at Jones Lang LaSalle comments: “The individuals moving to ES Group are true specialists in their field and on behalf of the firm I would like to thank them for their loyal and committed contributions to King Sturge and more recently to Jones Lang LaSalle. The transfer to ES Group is a positive step that sees them join a firm with an industry leading reputation in the Machinery and Business Assets space. We look forward to maintaining strong business relations with the practice moving forward.”
The acquisition follows ES Group’s purchase of Devon agency, Aaron Fox in September 2013 and Storeys:SSP, a North East practice, in December 2011.
