Family Business Week 2026 to shine a spotlight on businesses driving local growth across the UK
Family Business UK is calling on family-owned businesses across the country to come together this November, to highlight their vital role in creating jobs, strengthening communities, and driving long-term economic growth.
Family Business Week 2026, taking place from 23–27 November, will showcase the contribution family businesses make to towns, cities, and regions across the UK, from investing in local people and skills to supporting supply chains and building resilient communities.
With a focus on ‘Supporting Local Growth Across the UK,’ this year’s Family Business Week will bring family businesses together through a programme of regional events, business visits, networking opportunities and activities, with family firms sharing success stories and showcasing their contribution to local communities and economies.

Get involved in Family Business Week
Family Business UK is encouraging family-owned businesses of all sizes, sectors, and generations to take part, whether by attending an event, sharing their story, or joining the national conversation.
FBUK is also inviting Chambers of Commerce, business networks, and regional organisations to spotlight and celebrate the family businesses making a difference in their communities.

Neil Davy, chief executive of Family Business UK, said: “Family businesses are deeply rooted in the communities they serve. Their long-term commitment to investing in people, places and future generations makes them vital to the UK’s economic resilience and growth.
“Family Business Week is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on their contribution, share their stories and bring family businesses together. We want businesses of all sizes and sectors to get involved and help us champion the businesses powering local economies.”
