FLA welcomes appointment of Liam Coleman as chair of the Financial Ombudsman Service
The Finance & Leasing Association (FLA) welcomes the appointment of Liam Coleman as chair of the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).

Maintaining confidence in the financial services system is essential to ensuring that finance continues to support consumers, businesses and the wider economy.
An effective and predictable regulatory framework is central to that confidence. The FLA welcomes the reforms underway to bring greater clarity and consistency to the relationship between the FOS and the Financial Conduct Authority, ensuring that consumers are protected and lenders have the certainty they need to continue providing finance.
