Flint Bishop expands Sheffield Corporate team with senior hire
Flint Bishop has further strengthened its Corporate team in Sheffield with the appointment of Peter Turk as senior associate, adding significant transactional experience as the firm continues to expand its presence in Yorkshire and nationally.
Turk joins from Knights, where he spent more than five years advising on a broad range of domestic and international corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, employee ownership trusts, shareholder and joint venture agreements, and corporate reorganisations.
His track record includes advising on the eight-figure sale of Yorkshire car parts and accessories retailer BullsEye Superfactors Ltd to an employee ownership trust, financed by NatWest, as well as supporting the £120m sale of Sheffield-based façade remediation and cladding contractor Clear Line to a listed Swedish business.

He said: “Flint Bishop has clear ambitions for its corporate practice and its presence in Sheffield, so it is an exciting time to be joining the firm. I am looking forward to working with the wider team and using my experience to support businesses, shareholders and investors on strategically important transactions.
“Having worked with businesses across Yorkshire and nationally throughout my career, I am particularly pleased to be joining a firm that is investing significantly in the Sheffield market and building a strong platform for further growth.”
Martyn Brierley, partner and head of corporate at Flint Bishop, said: “Peter’s appointment further strengthens our corporate offering in Sheffield and brings considerable transactional experience to the team. His background advising businesses, shareholders and investors across a wide range of complex transactions will complement our existing expertise and add further depth to our offering.
“As we continue to grow our presence in Sheffield and nationally, attracting experienced lawyers of Peter’s calibre is an important part of our strategy. It ensures we continue to build the depth and quality of expertise needed to support our existing clients while capitalising on the new opportunities created by our growth.”
