Former fertility clinic in Staffordshire sold at auction
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of a former specialist fertility clinic, previously trading as St Jude’s Hospital, in Staffordshire.
This former clinic comprises a detached three-storey building with consulting rooms and two theatres. It previously operated as a specialist clinic where Doctors and Consultants held private surgeries for various areas of gynaecology and fertility monitoring.
The property is situated in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, in a private residential location access by a long driveway and is adjacent to several other medical facilities.
The site was purchased by an independent property investor at auction through Allsop LLP following a competitive bidding process.
Paul Reilly, director at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, comments, “With interest from residential developers, specialist school providers and local community projects for wellbeing, this sale proves that there is still a good demand for unusual properties with the healthcare market.”
St Jude’s Hospital was sold for an undisclosed price.
