Government consolidates young business support systems.
The Government wants to make Britain the best place in the world to start and grow a business – a place where you can build on your ideas and find success.
As part of a new campaign, Government is bringing all of the various support schemes together in one place on the business support website.
The website splits the support schemes into four areas:
Finance and business planning – including funding for new businesses and business growth, dealing with late payments, and equity and debt finance
- Leadership and Talent – including mentoring schemes, help with recruiting, developing leadership skills or joining a network
- Innovation and Technology – including funding for innovation, adoption of new technology, intellectual property and finding partners for innovation
- Exporting – including support for doing business internationally and expanding online
- Businesses can also contact the Business Support Helpline for one to one advice by calling 0300 456 3565 or by using the LiveChat function.
The website also links to local organisations who understand the challenges and opportunities specific to each region, such as local Growth Hubs and Local Enterprise Partnerships.
