Hilco Capital confirms departure of COO, Andrew Pepper
Hilco Capital, the restructuring firm which rescued Habitat and Denby, and currently owns the HMV retail business, has today confirmed the departure of Andrew Pepper, chief operating officer. Mr Pepper is moving on to pursue other personal and business interests.
Paul McGowan, chief executive of Hilco Capital, said: “Andrew has been a part of the Hilco Capital family for eight years now and has helped in establishing the business at the forefront of the restructuring community in the UK, Australia and Canada. We have very much enjoyed our time working together and growing a successful business over the years. The entire Hilco team wishes him luck in his new ventures.”
Andrew said: “During my time as equity partner and COO of Hilco Capital, Paul and I have developed an outstanding team of restructuring specialists of which I am immensely proud. Together we have raised our consolidated turnover to over £1.2bn and operate in eight countries worldwide. I am very grateful to Hilco for the free rein it has afforded me over the years which I now intend to build upon and look forward to any crossover collaborations in the future.”
