HW Fisher strengthens senior team with three partner promotions
HW Fisher, a UK top 30 audit and advisory firm, today announces three new promotions to partner to support the firm’s continued growth.
As of 1 May 2024, Martin Smith, Mark Reveley and Tanya Craft are partners in their respective departments, bringing the firm’s total to 28.
Martin Smith is head of the sports department, managing a portfolio of over 350 clients across personal tax and limited companies, primarily in the sports and entertainment sector. Having joined HW Fisher in 2001, his expertise centres around household names in the football industry for both UK professional sportspeople and non-UK domiciled individuals, including a large number of current premier league and championship footballers. He works alongside specialist sports lawyers, sports agents and IFAs to provide an all-round service, focusing on finding the most tax-efficient solutions for clients.
Mark Reveley joined HW Fisher in 2008, moving to the forensic department in 2011. He quickly gained a reputation for being able to handle particularly complex contractual arrangements and those requiring significant data analysis. Mark’s areas of expertise span a wide range of industries including consumer products, pharmaceutical, interactive media, fashion, TV, music, publishing and technology. Alongside his licensing and contract compliance work, Mark supports the traditional forensic accounting practice, particularly in areas concerning quantum of loss or extensive data analysis.
Tanya Craft has over 15 years’ experience, including 13 at HW Fisher. Tanya works as one of the leads within the audit group, dedicated to leading and delivering high quality audits. Her career spans 8 years in transactional services where she specialised in financial due diligence and valuations work.
Tanya is experienced in many aspects, including business valuations, purchase price allocation including intangibles valuations elements, share based payments or growth shares and from the audit side she assists the wider team with review of more complex accounting involving valuation principals, investments at fair value, impairment review and business combinations, review of purchase price allocation. Her background in TS equips her well for her client mix, predominantly acquisitive medium and large corporate groups. Tanya continues to lead and contribute on the firms valuations assignments.
