Just Mortgages appoints new digital marketing manager
National brokerage Just Mortgages has announced the appointment of Shey Wade to the role of digital marketing manager.
Shey will work across the financial services division at Spicerhaart to support Just Mortgages’ brokers in both the employed and self-employed divisions, as well as advisers at Just Wealth – its financial services arm. His remit will also include surveying division Valunation and Spicerhaart Part Exchange.
Working with the wider marketing team, a key focus is Just Mortgages’ own-brand proposition, enabling ambitious self-employed brokers to develop and utilise their own trading style. In addition to bespoke support with design and branding, the team also provides resources and in-depth training to help brokers build their marketing strategy, lead generation and social media presence.
The move is an internal promotion, with Shey progressing from marketing assistant to marketing executive to now leading the entire department. Prior to joining Spicerhaart, Shey gained experience in consumer-facing roles and completed studies in media, English and sociology.
Speaking on his appointment, Shey Wade said: “I’m thrilled to be taking this next step with Spicerhaart and Just Mortgages, working with the brilliant marketing team to support our talented brokers and advisers across the country. It’s an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping our advisers attract new business and in many cases help establish their identity and strategy as they head out under their own name or branding.
“As we head towards 2024, we are working closely with the learning and development team, the operations team and all key areas of the business to enhance and expand our proposition. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in to the role and rolling out further support for advisers.”
John Phillips, CEO of Spicerhaart and Just Mortgages, added: “Across all divisions, we want to make sure our brokers and advisers can maximise every opportunity – particularly in a challenging market. A key component to this is a proactive approach to marketing and social media, building their brand and increasing their footprint through their online presence and digital shop window.
“It’s fantastic to recognise Shey’s hard work and once again promote the talent found within Just Mortgages. Not only is the demand for training and marketing support busier than ever, the feedback we have been receiving from brokers has been excellent. I congratulate Shey on the new role and look forward to working closely with him and the team.”
In addition to bespoke marketing support, brokers with Just Mortgages also access day-to-day support with sales and compliance. In total, Just Mortgages has more than 650 brokers across the country, with its popular self-employed division fast approaching 500 brokers. The proposition is ideal for brokers looking for the independence of becoming self-employed, all while still accessing expert advice and support.
Just Mortgages can advise on any client requirements, whether it’s first-time buyers, shared ownership, buy-to-let, later life borrowing or commercial advice. There is also the opportunity to support broader financial needs such as investments, savings and pensions through a referral to sister firm Just Wealth.
