Landbay offers free title indemnity insurance
From today, Landbay, one of the UK’s leading buy-to-let lenders, will offer free-of-charge Title Indemnity Insurance, which could speed up the legal process dramatically. Landbay will be one of only a few lenders in the buy-to-let sector to offer Title Insurance on all of its buy-to-let remortgages that meet the required criteria.
Having title insurance takes away the need for lenders to carry out additional searches. This in turn speeds up the mortgage process and the time to completion.
Title insurance will be available on qualifying remortgages up to £1m and to 75% LTV.
Providing Title Indemnity Insurance can be a key way for intermediaries to help their clients when speed is of the essence. The enhanced speed of turnaround can also provide a, longer term, alternative to bridging finance when speed is of the essence.
