Last chance for specialists to help accelerate UK’s Net Zero innovation drive

Experienced consultants and associates have until April 12 to provide expressions of interest to help The Growth Company support SME growth opportunities within the Government’s £1bn Net Zero Innovation Portfolio.

Having now appointed experts across various sectors, The Growth Company is specifically seeking support from those in the following fields, to work in partnership with its experienced team across the Group’s wider innovation services:

• Advanced nuclear
• Smart energy & energy storage
• Greenhouse gas removal
• Hydrogen

As a longstanding strategic delivery partner to the Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS), The Growth Company has been delivering net carbon zero business support for over a decade and has amassed a wealth of practical experience.

One of the many opportunities in the pipeline is the chance to bid for the provision acceleration support services for BEIS. This £9.65m contract is for four years and is UK-wide. Should the bid be successful, it is envisioned that delivery will begin from summer 2021.

To reflect the UK’s diversity, individuals from historically underrepresented backgrounds in business and particularly those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, are being encouraged to apply.
