Leonard Curtis expands at New Bailey area of Manchester with 10,000sq ft move to award-winning office space
Leonard Curtis, the PE-backed professional services group specialising in corporate restructuring, turnaround, funding and legal advice, is expanding its Manchester presence with a move to a new 10,000 sq ft office at Eden in New Bailey.
The move will see Leonard Curtis relocate from Riverside House on Irwell Street to the seventh floor of the 12-storey office building.
The relocation has been driven by Leonard Curtis outgrowing its existing Manchester base and reflects the firm’s continued investment in its people and future growth.
Leonard Curtis has expanded significantly in recent years through organic growth, acquisitions and the development of its service offering. Following the majority investment from Pollen Street Capital in 2025, the business is now pursuing an ambitious growth strategy, with plans to double group revenues over the next four years.
Plans for the fit-out of the new space are now underway, with the Leonard Curtis team expected to move into their new workspace later this year.
Dan Booth, CEO of Leonard Curtis, said: “This move marks an important step for us. While additional space is important, this is really about creating an environment that reflects the business we are building. Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we want to create an environment where they can do their best work and continue to develop. Eden gives us the space and facilities we need for the next stage of growth.”
Hilary Pascoe, director and head of Manchester at Leonard Curtis, said: “Manchester is a key market for us and we work closely with business owners, management teams and professional advisers across the region – Eden gives us a larger, more flexible base to do that, while keeping us at the heart of the professional community in New Bailey.”
Laura Percy, development director at Muse, said: “This latest deal marks another positive step forward in Eden’s journey and shows that businesses are still prioritising work environments that place people and their wellbeing at the heart of the office experience.”
“It’s also brilliant to see an organisation which has grown and expanded in New Bailey staying here, reflecting the cultural and business district’s credentials as a destination – a vision that was at the heart of our £1bn Salford Central masterplan.”
The award-winning £36m, 115,000 sq. ft office building also boasts a 5.5 NABERS UK Design Reviewed Target rating, making it one of the UK’s most sustainable office buildings.
The Leonard Curtis team heading to Eden will benefit from a range of features and amenities which have been designed to drive productivity, collaboration and connectivity, alongside prioritising wellbeing.
Enhanced fresh air rates boost cognitive function; the roof terrace makes the ideal setting for hosting informal meetings and client events; and the cycle storage for 156 bikes – alongside showers, drying and changing rooms – provides the ideal conditions for active travel.
Elsewhere Eden boasts facilities which enable employees to seamlessly fit leisure and exercise into their busy schedules. The on-site café, Spice & Grind, serves breakfasts, lunches, snacks and artisan drinks, while the building is also home to its very own yoga studio and contemplation space on the ground floor, both of which provide an opportunity to take a break from the working day.
