Links Dental in Edinburgh sold to Pain Free Dental Group through Christie & Co
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Links Dental Practice in Edinburgh.
Links Dental Practice is a four-surgery, well established and well performing business located in one of the most desirable residential areas of Edinburgh. Set in a traditional property on the edge of the Bruntsfield Links in Marchmont, the practice is just a short stroll from the vast green spaces of the Meadows and surrounding areas. The district has an abundance of shops, bars, and restaurants, with the exclusive suburbs of Merchiston and Bruntsfield also within walking distance.
The business was originally established in 1993 by Dr Edward Ross, with Dr Iain Stewart opening a dental practice next door in 1999. The pair worked alongside each other as friendly neighbours before joining forces in 2004 to establish the Links Dental Practice as it is known today. The business grew quickly in the years that followed, leading to the installation of two further surgeries. Today, the practice employs a team of 17 and has a steady and consistent patient base in excess of 10,000 patients. The duo recently decided to take a step back from practice ownership but will continue post-sale as Associates.

Links Dental Practice was sold on a highly confidential, off market basis with the process taking place during the pandemic. The sale further demonstrates the consistent demand in Scotland for quality, well performing practices.
Links Dental Practice has been purchased by Scottish multi-site operator, Dr Mark Skimming of the Pain Free Dentistry Group.
