Lloyds Bank appoints new head of commercial cards, business & commercial banking

Lloyds Bank Business & Commercial Banking has appointed Linda Weston as head of commercial cards. Starting in June, Linda will be based in London and report into Chris Loring, managing director, lending & working capital.

This is a newly created role, following the expansion of the existing working capital team to create new, dedicated invoice finance and cards teams to support businesses with their working capital needs. Supporting the Group’s wider strategy, the new structure reflects Lloyds Bank’s plans to deepen relationships with clients, and further grow its cards business to develop products and propositions which will meet their future needs – expanding delivery of traditional card product as well as electronic pay solutions.

Linda’s career spans 25 years in the cards and payments industry and she brings extensive cards, product and transformation experience from roles held at Barclaycard Payments, J.P. Morgan and RBS.
