Mazars appoints Suresh Patel as partner
Mazars, the international tax, audit and advisory firm, has appointed Suresh Patel as partner in its Public Sector Assurance team, based in London.
Suresh, previously with the firm until 2016, will be a familiar face for Mazars’ national Public Sector Assurance team. Suresh will help to further develop the team, while also focusing on growing Mazars’ wider national Public Sector Assurance business. He brings many years of experience to the team, supporting its commitment to audit quality, and will also help to strengthen links with Mazars’ Public Services teams internationally.
Suresh has been an elected member of the Council of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) from 2016 to 2021 and will continue to be involved with CIPFA working groups at Mazars. He is also a member of the ICAEW’s Public Sector Auditor Group.
