Metro Bank appoints large loans specialist
Challenger bank responds to rising demand for £1.5m mortgages
Metro Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Jo Hollins as senior relationship manager – Large Loans. The new role has been created in response to overwhelming demand from the intermediary sector for mortgages over the value of £1.5m.
Jo joins from Metro Bank’s Private Banking unit where she was for three years, working with high net worth clients. Under her new role, Jo will be responsible for overseeing high value mortgage enquiries as well as managing the businesses growth strategy in this area and assisting with specialist broker partnerships. Jo will take up the new role from 13 July.
The newly created role is in direct response to an upturn in both demand from customers and an improving housing market. The move is the latest development from Metro Bank following the recent appointment of three new field-based business development managers and an overhaul of its intermediary website.
Prior to joining Metro Bank, Jo worked as a consultant at John Charcol, so brings her expert knowledge of the mortgage broking sector to the role.
