Moore Kingston Smith reports 12.3% revenue growth for year ending April 2020
Accountancy and business advisory firm Moore Kingston Smith LLP today announces its full year results for the year ended 30 April 2020. Revenue increased by 12.3% from £55.7m to £62.6m.
Maureen Penfold, managing partner of Moore Kingston Smith LLP, said: “These strong results reflect the continued development of, and investment in, our traditional core services. Our audit, tax and advisory services have all experienced significant growth as we have continued to modernise and expand them.
“In addition, having joined the Moore Global network in May 2019, we have experienced significant growth in international work. By continuing to recruit specialists with the relevant expertise, we have enhanced our ability to offer increased global reach to larger clients, as well as our traditional SME client base.
“Our investment in technology, coupled with our commitment to putting our people first, equipping and developing them, and placing a high priority on their wellbeing, enabled us to respond quickly and effectively to the Covid pandemic. We were able to successfully and rapidly relocate all of our people to work from home, and introduce a range of measures to ensure that everyone felt connected and that team members were looking out for one another. This allowed us to maintain our usual high standards of work from remote locations, while also extending our clients additional support and resources, which was particularly valued during those very challenging early weeks and months.
“While clearly this next financial year will be tougher due to the current conditions, I remain confident about the future outlook and look forward to continuing to help our clients thrive through these ever-changing times.
“Our focus now is on continuing to anticipate and serve the evolving needs of our clients, in a way that supports our people and reflects the way in which they wish to work going forward. By embracing change and innovation, we look forward to further developing a truly agile, hybrid way of working to provide clients with optimum service whenever they need it.”
