New partner strengthens RSM’s special investigations team
RSM has appointed James Dowers as partner in its special investigations team. The leading audit, tax and consulting firm appointed James to advise on contentious insolvency, civil claims investigations, asset recovery and insolvency litigation. He is based in RSM’s London office.
Prior to joining RSM, James was a partner at CVR Global LLP. He has significant experience of handling cases of fraud, many of which involved large multi-jurisdictional matters including recoveries in pan-European and global territories.
James has acted as liquidator or officeholder in complex investigations and brought civil actions arising from bankruptcies, liquidations, provisional liquidations and administrations, fulfilling his duty to creditors by recovering assets and funds misappropriated through the seizure of assets or court processes.
With 18 years’ experience, James is a licensed insolvency practitioner, a member of the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) and the Association of Business Recovery Practitioners. He is also is a regular speaker at seminars educating government departments, solicitors and other creditors in all aspects of insolvency.
