North Lincolnshire pharmacy sold to experienced operator through Christie & Co
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of The Village Pharmacy in Goxhill, North Lincolnshire.
The Village Pharmacy, is a well-established, standard hours pharmacy which dispenses an average of 7,500 items per month. The business is a profitable venture with scope to increase income through further advanced services. It is located in the North Lincolnshire village of Goxhill and benefits greatly from the security of being integrated into a health centre with eight GPs at present.
The business was previously owned by a consortium of GPs and has been purchased by Mr Sachin Tammewar who also owns two pharmacies in Yorkshire.
Speaking on behalf of the consortium, Dr Deepak Gone comments, “We are happy the sale has been completed after long delays partly due to the current ongoing pandemic. We wish the new owners all the best.”
New owner, Mr Sachin Tammewar, comments, “We are delighted with the purchase and thanks to Karl from Christie & Co who has been helpful and supportive all the way through.”
Karl Clezy director at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, comments, “The sale attracted a lot of interest from first-time buyers and independent operators alike. Buyers liked that it sat unopposed inside the village’s health centre with the closest pharmacy almost two miles away in Barrow upon Humber.”
The Village Pharmacy was sold off an undisclosed price.
