North West businesses raise over £3,000 for local charities
BFS’s Northern Sales Teams have raised £3,421.35 for local charities the Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust and the Bobby Colleran Trust, as part of its annual ‘Champions Day’ charity fundraising event.
Held at The Bierkeller in Liverpool on 12 March and aimed at encouraging local businesses to give back to charity, this year’s event celebrated the start of the 2019 Cheltenham Festival. It was attended by 200 people and 100% of the money raised was donated to charity.
The money is being donated to two charities based in Liverpool:

The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust, which is the only specialist hospital trust in the UK dedicated to providing comprehensive neurology, neurosurgery, spinal and pain management services.

The Bobby Colleran Trust, which works to promote better road safety awareness for children, parents and schools, to help prevent road safety accidents in the North West of England.
As well as the £3,421.35 raised by Northern Sales Team, BFS also held a Champions Day events for the southern region, bringing together local businesses on the first day of the Cheltenham Festival to support Make-A-Wish UK. The two events combined helped BFS raise a total of £13,177.35 for charity.
