This family-run business was previously owned by Interactive Development Residential Limited. director, Mr Gordon Quince, comments, “IDS has grown and become an established provider of care to vulnerable clients, and I felt it was time to hand the reins over to an established provider so I could concentrate on my other businesses.”
The business has been purchased by large regional operator, Flexible Support Options, which already operates a successful supported living business.
Julie Kitson, drector at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, comments, “I am very pleased to have been involved in this transaction. I was recommended to act on behalf of the vendor, and to take their business to market which they have grown over the years. It is sometimes difficult to sell businesses that have no assets but, as this is in the specialist sector, I received good interest. I am pleased the business has been sold to a regional operator within the Northeast.”
Interactive Development Support was sold off an asking price of £3,500,000.
