‘Outstanding’ Leicestershire day nursery sold to Kids Planet
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’, Burbage Day Nursery, in Burbage, Leicestershire.
Founded in 2008, Burbage Day Nursery is a well-established business with an outstanding reputation, high occupancy levels, and an excellent management structure in place. It operates across the ground floor of a converted bungalow dwelling with two outdoor spaces and has an effective operating capacity for 73 children with room for further growth.
The nursery is situated in the delightful village of Burbage, Leicestershire, surrounded by houses and good access to local commuter routes. It is the perfect ‘satellite’ location for an East and West Midlands base and is one of the very few ‘Outstanding’ day nurseries in the region.
The business was founded by owners Stephanie and Dennis Sanders who have significantly invested in the setting over their 12 years of operation, resulting in three successive ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted inspections. Stephanie and Dennis decided to sell to pursue other interests.
Burbage Day Nursery has been purchased by large, fast expanding nursery operator, Kids Planet.

Burbage Day Nursery was sold off an asking price of £1,450,000.
