GLOBAL, 9 September 2026 – AIFO Funding has announced a major overhaul of its trading Challenges, introducing new rules across its 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant and Sprint Challenges from September 2026.
The update introduces revised profit targets, drawdown structures and minimum trading-day requirements while removing selected restrictions across its funded challenge models.Among the most significant changes, AIFO has removed the dedicated Consistency Score from both 1-Step and 2-Step, eliminated the previous 70% margin-usage restriction from 1-Step, and introduced Static Maximum Loss limits for both Challenges.
According to AIFO, the changes are intended to provide traders with clearer risk boundaries and greater flexibility while maintaining core account risk controls.
“Less complexity. More clarity. More flexibility,” said Jun Yu, Founder and CEO of AIFO Funding. “Rules should define the boundaries, not get in the way of the trader’s goals.”
The most substantial changes apply to AIFO’s evaluation Challenges. The updated 1-Step Challenge now requires a 10% Profit Target, with a 3% Daily Loss Limit, 6% Static Maximum Loss Limit, and a minimum of two trading days. The previous dedicated Consistency Score and 70% margin-usage restriction have both been removed.
The 2-Step Challenge now requires an 8% Profit Target during Phase 1 and 5% during Phase 2. Traders operate with a 5% Daily Loss Limit, 10% Static Maximum Loss Limit, and a minimum of three trading days. Its dedicated Consistency Score has also been removed.
Both Challenges now use a Static Maximum Loss structure, providing traders with a fixed maximum-loss reference calculated from the initial account balance rather than a threshold that changes alongside account performance.
The September update also creates clearer distinctions between AIFO’s different Challenge types.
AIFO Instant continues to provide direct account access without a traditional evaluation and retains its Historical Maximum Drawdown structure. Current conditions include a 3% Daily Loss Limit, 5% Historical Maximum Drawdown, 2% maximum floating loss per trade, 2% profit buffer, and $100 minimum payout.
AIFO Sprint, meanwhile, is structured around a 3% Profit Target within a 24-hour Challenge window, providing a separate option for traders seeking a shorter, time-defined evaluation.
Rather than applying similar conditions across every trading route, AIFO says the new framework is intended to make each challenge easier to understand independently, from how profit targets are calculated to how losses are measured and which additional conditions apply.
Full details of the September changes are available in the AIFO New Rules update. Traders are encouraged to review the complete conditions of their selected Challenge before participating, as requirements differ between 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant and Sprint.
