Perrys raises over £13k for the Kent Cancer Trust
Kent based Chartered Accountants Perrys has presented the Kent Cancer Trust with a fantastic £13,691.52 of funds following two successful fundraising challenges.
The practice, which has seven offices including Medway, Orpington, Tunbridge Wells, West Malling and Wrotham, as well as City and Mayfair, organised several fundraising events, including its annual charity golf day in June, which helped to raise £5,869 towards the cause.
A further £7k came from the team tackling the gruelling and emotionally exhausting task of walking 100km during the Thames Path Challenge in September.
The Kent Cancer Trust was established in 2004 to help relieve the suffering of cancer patients and improve the provision of cancer care throughout Kent. The funds raised by Perrys will go towards helping the charity to continue their essential research programmes.
Stewart Pope, CEO of Perrys Chartered Accountants, said:
“We would like to thank everyone who has supported the Perrys fundraising campaign and helped us to raise such a phenomenal amount for this incredible charity.
“The Kent Cancer Trust is an essential service for many families across the county so we’re extremely proud to be helping them continue their vital research.”
