PKF GM bolster contentious insolvency capabilities with senior appointment
London and Leeds-based insolvency and restructuring firm, PKF GM, has appointed Dawn McMullan to support the firm’s personal and contentious insolvency teams and build upon the business’ successes in 2023.
Dawn joins PKF GM with 17 years’ experience working within commercial, personal and contentious insolvency practices, during which time she rose from a temporary receptionist to become an assistant insolvency manager late last year.
With particular skill in assisting with personal insolvency and compulsory liquidations, Dawn looks forward to joining the team: “After discovering my niche within matters of contentious insolvency, the opportunity to continue my work at a forward looking, rapidly growing team was one I could not ignore. I’m excited to start and support the team in an interesting and unique area of work.”
Stratford Hamilton, head of the specialist investigations and director at PKF GM, says Dawn’s appointment reinforces the firm’s commitment to providing businesses and creditors with positive returns wherever possible: “In the midst of an increasingly pressurised economic environment, we are seeing more and more instances of businesses and stakeholders being victims of fraudulent activity. Dawn’s appointment places the team in a strong position to help deliver positive outcomes for creditors and business owners alike who have suffered from these activities. We’re delighted that Dawn has joined the team.”
