Popular Holland Park pharmacy sold for the first time in over 30 years
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Hillcrest Pharmacy in West London.
Hillcrest Pharmacy is a standard hour pharmacy which dispenses an average of 4,851 items per month. It is ideally located in the affluent West London area of Holland Park.
The business was previously owned by Mrs Ila Patel who, after over 30 years of ownership, decided to sell to pursue a well-earned retirement. Within this time, Mrs Patel had created one of the most impressive retail offerings within pharmacy.
Mrs Patel comments, “We have owned Hillcrest Pharmacy for over 30 years and are happy to be passing its legacy to buyers who appreciate the strength of the brand we have built and the wide range of products we stock. Hillcrest Pharmacy is one of the most unique pharmacies in the country and we wish the new owners the best in taking it to new levels of success.”
Hillcrest Pharmacy has been purchased by a local independent operator. Speaking on behalf of the company, director, Mr Shah, comments, “We are excited to purchase one of the most distinctive and exciting pharmacy businesses in the country, and we aim to build on the existing brand and make Hillcrest the foremost name in Pharmacy.”
Jack Chard, associate director at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, comments, “Hillcrest is the most impressive pharmacy I have come across from a retail perspective. As demand continues to grow for pharmacies with strong retail offerings, I was unsurprised by the amount of interest we got for such a unique pharmacy.”
Hillcrest Pharmacy was sold off an asking price of £1,700,000.
