Promotion announced in midlands at Skipton Business Finance
Skipton Business Finance, part of the Skipton Building Society, has announced the promotion of Ian Jones to head of sales Midlands.
This new role, based in Skipton Business Finance’s Birmingham office, will see Ian taking on additional executive responsibilities across the Midlands and utilising his diverse skill set to drive future growth.
Ian joined Skipton Business Finance in 2012 as a regional sales manager and very quickly established himself as a key member of the sale force who soon progressed to regional sales director and now as head of sales Midlands.
Ian will report directly to sales & marketing director Andy Grantham who commented: “Ian is a long-standing and well respected member of the team and it is fantastic to be able to reward him for all his hard work.
“The region is a key growth area for Skipton where we have remained open for business throughout our history providing no-nonsense funding facilities. We have continually grown our client base year-on-year and with the current economic uncertainties we feel we can do even more to assist SME’s looking for working capital funding. Ian’s passion and work ethic will help us achieve our ambitious growth plans and give us a more joined-up approach across the Midlands region.”
