Quantuma grows African presence with Mauritius office
Business advisory firm Quantuma LLP has entered into a joint venture with Mauritius-based Thacoor Advisory to expand its presence in African markets.
Fulfilling one of Quantuma’s strategic ambitions of develop an international footprint in key international financial centres, the move will see the fast-growth firm provide a range of business advisory services to businesses in Mauritius and further afield.
Operating under the Quantuma brand, the company will run from two new locations in Mauritius – Ebene and Port St Louis. This adds to Quantuma’s geographical portfolio, which currently includes two offices in Cyprus and 15 UK locations.
The business will be headed by former managing partner at Grant Thornton Mauritius and regional head of Grant Thornton International, Yuvraj (Raj) Thacoor. Raj has previously led insolvency cases for a number of Mauritian businesses including The Delphis Bank, as well as several high-profile overseas assignments.
Raj will be supported by Quantuma restructuring partner Andrew Andronikou, who is based in London.
