Reward Finance Group launches presence in the Midlands
Alternative finance provider, Reward Finance Group, has launched its presence in the Midlands with the high-level appointment of Steph Brown as business development director.
Steph is one of the most experienced and well-connected people in the commercial finance market, having spent 30 years operating within the sector in Birmingham.
Having worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland for 13 years, she joins from Ultimate Finance where she was senior regional director.
Speaking about her new role, Steph said, “Although Reward has not had a physical presence in the Midlands until now, the company has successfully completed several funding deals in the region. When looking at those deals, I have admired the pragmatic and flexible way it has approached the SME’s requirements and the speed it has delivered the funds.
“I am therefore excited about being able to bring Reward’s ‘can do’ approach to my contacts, and informing them about the way my new team will explore every opportunity to provide the funds, whether that is to help a company get through a difficult period, or to enable them to seize an opportunity.”
Group managing director of Reward Finance Group, Nick Smith, is delighted to welcome Steph to the company.
“Having established two successful offices in Leeds and Manchester, we are now embarking on our next phase of development by increasing our regional presence.
“Having become increasingly active in the Midlands it made perfect sense to be represented here and we are therefore delighted that we have been able to attract someone with Steph’s calibre to head it up.
“We will be working closely with Steph and tapping into her local knowledge to identify suitable offices in the city, prior to adding further experienced funders to the team.”
